Honorable Minister,

Members of the USAR Team,

First, I would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Government
of the Netherlands, in particular the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry
of Defense and the Ministry of Justice and Security for their work. I also wish
to thank the Dutch people for their generosity and kindness.

Secondly, I would like to welcome our brave friends, the USAR team, who
participated in the search and rescue operations after the devastating
earthquakes in Türkiye.

Our thanks cannot be limited to the 12 tulips - which is a common
friendship symbol of two nations - but also on behalf of 12 families.You not only saved lives, but also saved at
least 12 future families.

The earthquake struck a huge area. It was catastrophic. It devastated 10
provinces equal to the geography twice the size of the Netherlands.

But even in the face of such a disaster, we saw hope and resilience.

We witnessed how people from different parts of the world, including the
Netherlands, came together to extend their hand to us.

The Dutch USAR team was among the many teams that responded to the call
for assistance.

The team's commitment to rescue those who were trapped under the rubble
was truly remarkable. You demonstrated a unique bravery.

We are grateful.
